Deccan College of Medical Science (DCMS) is a medical college for the muslim minority situated in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh offering the course of MBBS. Presently, it has an approved intake of 150 seats.
Primarily benefits of this college is also extended to non minority students. The Muslim students admitted in this college are supported to follow the basics of Islam. All arrangements and adequate accommodation for prayers has been provided in this college.
The college was established in the year 1985 with the permission of Government Of Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijaywada and permanently recognised by the Medical Council of India. It follows the syllabus prescribed by the University for M.B.B.S course as recognised by Medical Council of India
DCMS is established and administered by Muslim Minority Trust i.e. Dar-us-salam educational trust under the provision of Article: 30(1) of the constitution of India. The Management i.e. Dar-us-Salam Educational Trust (D.E.T) is an autonomous body with Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi as its chairman.
The college is administered by experienced Administrators and Doctors. Presently, Dr. Syed Mumtaz Hussain is the principal of the medical college.
Dar-Us-Salam Educational Trust (DET) was established in the year 1974 as a self financing minority institution under the chairmanship of Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi (Ex Member of Parliament, India). Dar-us-Salam educational trust is young, energetic and eager to engage more creative minds in the quest of knowledge for the improvement of society both materially, humanistically and to chose focus in the fields of medicine, engineering, business management disciplines which enhance quality of human condition in fast paced age.

The college is situated at Santoshnagar near Water tank in a beautiful atmosphere, and attached to the college there is a (9) storied hospital named as Owaisi Hospital & Research Centre. There are other hospitals which are attached to the college namely Princess Esra Hospital, South Central Railway Hospital.
The college occupies an area of 66,070 sq.ft. built-in area with adjacent open space of approximate (16) acres for further expansion.
It has a lush green cricket ground on its entrance and also a basketball court and an open theater.
The hospital building also houses the Pharmacy
The college has a main library in addition to various departmental libraries. It contains 9182 textbooks and References books and 6018 journals of National and International reputes.
There are various research activities going on in various departments in addition to the teaching activities .
